Jott

How do we turn your voice into text?

We take quality very seriously at Jott, which is one of the reasons we have so many satisfied individual and business customers. We often get asked, though, "How are you so accurate?".

We have a lot of different services here at Jott, but they all operate in pretty much the same way with regards to voice to text transcription. When you or one of your callers (in the case of Jott Voicemail) leaves a voice recording with Jott, we start it through our transcription process. First, the voice recording is sent through our automated speech recognition (ASR) engines. Then, messages that our systems identify as needing a little work are passed along to our quality assurance specialists for a touch up.

Our quality assurance teams work in a clean room environment, the same kind that medical and legal professionals have used for years for transcription of highly confidential materials. No personally identifiable information is ever seen by specialists. After your message has passed through QA it gets delivered to you, your contact or group, the Jott Link you specified, or Salesforce.com if you use Jott for Salesforce.

So that's how it works. If you have further questions, please fill out a support form.
